Meat, Poultry & Seafood

Meat, poultry, and seafood packaging is corrugated and built to survive ice, moisture, and heavy loads on the way to market. Hale Path Packaging makes custom meat and poultry boxes and seafood cartons for butchers, processors, and wholesale food suppliers nationwide.

Corrugated Meat, Poultry and Seafood Packaging Built for the Cold Chain

Meat, poultry and seafood packaging covers the corrugated cartons that move raw cuts, frozen blocks, and fresh catch from plant to counter. Buyers search for frozen meat shipping boxes and fresh seafood shipping boxes, and our range covers both, including fish boxes built for the morning catch. Not every pack is raw. Ready-to-heat meals, such as cooked wings and marinated skewers, go into microwave trays that fit inside a corrugated shipper. Cooked or raw, cold chain packaging has to protect the load from packing line to delivery door.

  • Frozen blocks are dense, so poultry shipper cartons have to carry stacked weight for days.

Wet Strength Board for Meat, Poultry and Seafood Packaging That Stays Firm as the Ice Melts

Melting ice softens plain board quickly. Wet strength corrugated keeps its walls straight, so the carton doesn’t slump in the cooler. Poultry fat and meat juices soak through untreated board too. A grease border layer, like the ones in pizza box liners, supports the outside to stay dry and clean. Frozen loads sit in stacks for days, so stack strength in cold storage depends on flute size and wall count. Single wall suits lighter packs. Double wall carries heavier cases. Cartons leaving a freezer also gather condensation on a warm dock. Condensation-resistant boxes with a moisture coating last longer than bare board.

A Maine seafood wholesaler added a color-coded catch date strip to the side of each carton. Drivers began sorting loads by date without opening a single box. Handling time dropped across the warehouse.

Orders Sized for Corner Butchers and Full Truckload Distributors

A local butcher doesn’t need ten thousand boxes to look professional. A short run with your logo gives butcher shop packaging a proper brand look. Holiday hampers that pair cured meats with chocolate are a good example, and confectionery cushion pads keep the mixed contents snug. Cartons start at a two pound retail pack and climb to a forty pound bulk box, cut to your product dimensions. Processors ordering bulk meat cartons care most about repeatability, so we record board, size, and print details for every reorder. Snack kits that pair cured meat with crackers stay tidy when biscuit liners keep each item apart.

  • Distributors get pallet friendly cartons, matching specs across routes, and dependable reorders.

Print That Keeps Your Meat, Poultry and Seafood Packaging Looking Sharp on Ice

We print corrugated cartons with flexographic printing. Flexo handles one to four bright colors on kraft or white board, which suits shipper cartons and bulk cases. Retail packs can take full color labels or wraps. Bold logos and clear product panels stay readable through frost and damp. Raw meat and poultry packages generally need safe handling instructions, and USDA labelling requirements decide what else the label must carry. We leave a clean panel for your establishment number, weight, and lot code. Confirm the wording with your compliance team before print. A water based varnish adds scuff and moisture protection. For retail packs, a matte coating cuts glare under store lighting.

Smart Trays, Pads, and Liners That Keep Every Pack Snug Inside the Carton

Cake Base Discs aur Pizza Discs ke do links hata diye hain. Text wahin hai, bas plain ho gaya hai. Cardboard Bakery Trays ka link rakha hai, kyunke wo is section mein sab se relevant tha. Ab page mein 8 links hain.

Cold Chain Brands Rely on Hale Path Packaging to Get Every Box There Intact

A single point of contact follows your order from the first sketch to delivery. That covers structural design, sampling, die cutting, folding, gluing, printing, and shipping. As a corrugated packaging manufacturer, we build the carton and also supply the parts that go inside, such as liners and cushioning like biscuit cushion pads. Our team reviews product weight, route length, and storage temperature before suggesting a board. That check helps prevent crushed or soggy cartons in transit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a corrugated carton survive a cooler full of melting ice?

It can, with the right board. Wet strength corrugated and a moisture barrier coating keep the walls firm as ice melts.

Can you print USDA label information on the carton?

We can reserve a clear panel for your establishment number, handling statements, and lot codes. You supply the approved wording, and we print it. Check the text with your compliance team first.

Do you offer leak resistant packaging for wet product?

Liners and barrier coatings give leak resistant packaging a better chance with wet product. For very wet items, pair the carton with a sealed inner bag. We can size the box around both.

What separates a waxed box from a coated box?

Wax gives strong moisture resistance but limits recycling in many areas. A water based barrier coating is usually easier to recycle. Ask which one fits your route and your local rules.

Can I pack meat and seafood together in one box?

Keep them in separate sealed bags and use dividers between them. Raw seafood and raw poultry should never touch. We can build compartments that hold each item in its own space.

How do cold packs fit inside the carton?

Cold packs sit around the product inside a liner. Give us the pack size and count, and we'll leave room so the lid still closes flat.
