Can You Order Pizza Boxes in Small Batches, Not Just by the Case?
Most pizza box suppliers are built around case-size ordering: 50, 100, sometimes 200 units minimum. That works fine for an established pizzeria restocking a known size, but it shuts out two real buyers: a small or new pizzeria testing a size before committing to a full case run, and home cooks and hobbyist pizza makers. This is a genuinely common ask. Anyone running a home pizza oven eventually needs somewhere to buy 10 to 25 takeout-style boxes without opening a wholesale account, and most suppliers simply don’t serve that order size at all.
Our minimum order for cardboard pizza boxes is 100 units, low enough to test a new size or run a small pop-up without committing to a pallet of boxes you’re not sure you need yet.
Branding Without Losing Ventilation
If you’re printing a logo or menu on the lid, we lay the design around the vent template rather than after it. Full-color CMYK or single-color logo printing both work on kraft or white corrugated stock, the same way it does across our custom-printed cardboard boxes line generally, and we’ll flag it if a design element sits where a vent cut needs to go, before it’s on press instead of after 500 boxes are printed wrong.
What Does It Cost, and How Fast Can You Get Cardboard Pizza Boxes Made?
Pricing scales in roughly three tiers. Plain kraft or white corrugated stock in standard sizes is the cheapest option and the right call for high-volume, cost-first ordering. Mid-range covers most printed runs at moderate volume. Full custom printed, brand-forward boxes sit at the top of the range when the box itself is part of the customer’s delivery experience, not just a container. Our minimum order is 100 units, with turnaround running 7 to 12 business days from proof approval, faster for plain stock, longer for full custom print runs. If your order also needs to survive a longer freight leg before it reaches your kitchen, our shipping cardboard boxes page covers that separately.
Every order gets a digital proof before production, and if you’re not sure a box will actually fit your pie the way you think it will, ask for a physical sample first. A screen mockup won’t tell you how a lid clears a fully loaded 16-inch pie. A real box with a real pizza in it will.
